Walking down the street, Danny Fenton put his hands in his pockets, trying to give off a relaxed look. In reality, though, he was anything from it. The teen was fully alert, ready to spring into action if needed.
He was beginning to doubt if that would ever be necessary, though. He had been out wandering around the city since noon, six hours ago. Although Second Chances allowed a bit of freedom, he was supposed to be back by eight ‘o clock. He only had two hours left, so Danny decided that he’d be able to cover more ground by flying. It took three hours to sort out all the paperwork allowing Danny to go back to school. Three hours of being bored out of his mind.

Lancer smiled slightly. “I have to agree. That’s always been my least favorite part of the job.” He then began sorting all the paperwork out into neat piles, and placing those files on top of one another. “Daniel, you’re free to go. You’ll start school tomorrow.”
